Meet Our Team

What do you love about working at the company? Since I was a young boy trading baseball cards with the neighborhood kids, I have always had the heart of an entrepreneur. That entrepreneurial spirit has grown into a deep love of developing a team of incredible people that are truly dedicated to serving our clients and ultimately our community. I take that leadership role very seriously here at Vision Construction.but never forgetting to have some fun along the way!
What do you enjoy about serving our clients? I truly appreciate and value the trust that each and every client has in our team with probably the largest single investment of their lives, their homes. I love taking a challenge, dream or vision they have of their home and transforming/creating it to something they’ll really enjoy with their families for many years to come.
What “little things” do you consider yourself an expert at or highly skilled at? My wife may beg to differ at times, but ‘listening’. Whether it’s listening to a client’s needs, maybe something a team member is struggling with, or even a trade partner’s preferences on how they want to do business. It’s taking this listening skill and creating a truly win-win situation for all parties involved so everyone is pleased. I also consider myself a pretty organized and detail-oriented individual. This skill or characteristic just helps to bring a little more peace and order to an oftentimes chaotic world.
Overall Likes In Life/Business: Allowing my faith and trust in God to keep me focused on what truly matters. Enjoying the journey not just the destination. My wife’s amazing cooking. Hearing my children laugh. When my dogs listen to me. Watching people return a sincere smile. Encouraging others. Reading a great review from a client when a job was done extremely well then communicating that win with my entire team. A good book on a warm beach with the sun shining. To always be learning and becoming the best version of myself.
What do you love to do outside of work? Any interesting facts/history about yourself? Spending time with my family running a race in all 50 states in support of our non-profit foundation Running with Wings Inc. Traveling, camping and hiking on new adventures with my family and friends. Partnering with our church family and Team Vision on mission trips around the country to help people put their lives back together. One (of MANY) dreams in my lifetime is to build a Christian coupl’s retreat on Vision Farms housing some of the most incredible custom tree houses in the world. Godspeed!!

What do you love about working at the company? I enjoy taking a client’s concept and turning it into a reality. I love solving problems as a team and figuring out how to adapt with each environment that we work in. I enjoy working with a great team, because we work efficiently together and have fun while doing it.
What do you enjoy about serving our clients? I enjoy making our clients feel at ease throughout the entire remodel/build process, because I know how stressful it can be at times. I truly love the relationships and friendships that are built between us and our clients throughout the entirety of a project. It’s a truly rewarding feeling.
What “little things” do you consider yourself an expert at or highly skilled at? I pride myself in being very particular and detail oriented. Whether I am doing finish carpentry, laying flooring, running electric, etc. I want to be sure I am doing the job once, which means doing the job right and not skipping steps. Similarly, if I am in contact with a client, I want to be sure that my communication is on point, so that I am consistently updating them, sharing progress, asking questions, and helping them be a part of the project from start to finish.

What “little things” do you consider yourself an expert at or highly skilled at? One little thing that I try to do is to put a smile on people’s faces every day. I try my best to stay positive, even if things aren’t going according to plan. I feel that one of my skills is the finished carpentry portion of our projects (setting cabinets, setting doors, or custom on-site built cabinets and bookcases, etc.).
Overall Likes In Life/Business: I strive to always be on time. To enjoy life. (when you enjoy your career, it’s more like a hobby than a job).
