Since 2015, we have been committed to elevating the standard of the construction industry through the quality of our work and integrity of our team.

A Different Kind of Remodeling Company

Since his childhood building treehouses and forts in the backyard, our founder, Jason Carmack has always been building something. It was a natural transition into the construction industry in 1994, where Jason began his career as a framing carpenter on custom homes. From there he spent 20 years in the construction industry at various companies and residential remodelers, growing from his early role of carpenter to Vice President of Operations with a well-respected custom home builder.

Along the way, Jason developed a deep love and understanding for residential remodeling. He also noticed a disheartening trend throughout the construction industry at large – lack of integrity, poor communication, and terrible follow-through among remodeling contractors. In 2015, Jason established Vision Construction, a Cincinnati-based, residential remodeling company. He set out two primary goals for Vision Construction: Produce quality work and act with integrity.

To this day, those principles are still the foundation of everything we do. They guide our processes, hiring decisions, contractor relationships, and our standards on completing projects. We are committed to challenging the negative stereotypes of construction workers by hiring men and women of integrity and holding ourselves to an elevated standard for workmanship and conduct. As we continue to grow as a remodeling company, that goal isn’t changing any time soon. We never want to be the biggest remodeling contractor in Cincinnati; we just want to be the best.

Working with Vision was an absolute delight! We've tackled quite a few remodels before, and each one seemed to have its unique set of challenges that we had to solve on our own. After months of searching for a reliable company, we found Vision to help add over 1400 square feet to our home while we lived in it! From the beginning, Jason and Noah guided us through the planning process, ensuring that not only did everything make sense but also that our needs were completely met. From the very first day we met John, the on-site project manager, we knew we were in good hands. John and Noah worked tirelessly throughout our entire project and were there for our family every step of the way. Their team treated us and our home with the utmost respect. Once everything was completed, the quality of the workmanship spoke for itself. Even now, they continue to take our calls and assist us with any questions we have.

Our home in New Richmond, Ohio, built in 1910 with a great view of the Ohio River, included an upstairs bathroom not only dated in style but with leaks which compromised the dining room below. We consulted several construction firms and decided Vision Construction was the best for our project.Jason and Noah came to look at the bathroom, the damage below, and the related plumbing, electrical and structural needs, then presented us with a comprehensive estimate to repair the bathroom and all related areas.They sent us to three different vendors for new fixtures and plumbing. Each was easy to deal with, responsive to our design ideas, and mindful of our budget. When everything was in place, our job was scheduled and the “Process” and communication with Vision Construction went smoothly.Demolition revealed that the tile, floor and tub were probably installed in 1931. A repair around 1990 and installation of new toilet and vanity were the only other previous updates. John Schott’s supervision of the whole project was excellent. John, Jake and Josh handled the demolition. John, Curt and David were most present for tile work and later finishes. Everyone involved was skilled, courteous, careful to clean up every day, and good at communicating.Change orders were clearly communicated and even some unexpected additional scope to demolition was reasonably priced with options presented. Vision Construction heard our concerns about making sure plumbing, electrical, and structural work brought the new bathroom to a beautiful and wonderfully functional completion!Along the way when there were setbacks, Vision Construction took full responsibility and resolved all issues. I bring that up not to indicate problems, but instead to point to their skill and attentiveness when inevitable concerns cropped up. I would describe their resolution of challenges as generous and thorough.Throughout the project, there was someone here each day, progress was steady and well-documented in the Buildertrend app, and the end result is magnificent. We couldn’t be more pleased. We recommend Vision Construction to anyone!

Update 2022: When it came to renovating a bathroom, my only call was to Vision Construction. They remodeled a full bathroom along with several other small projects and did a beautiful job. They are always prompt, respectful, and provide top-quality workmanship.2018: Vision Construction did an amazing job on our exterior home project. They rebuilt an existing deck and patio, extended our driveway, and extended a porch in Mariemont. They easily navigated the architect, other subcontractors and our local building inspectors and ordinances. They are professional, courteous, and kind. I highly recommend Vision Construction for any home project.

Noah, John, Jake, Josh, Kurt and David were all awesome to work with. They were professional, considerate and did excellent work in remodeling two of our bathrooms. Vision has remodeled 2 of our bathrooms and we are very happy with the results. We would not hesitate to call them again for any future work.**update August 2022: From previous projects, we knew we would be satisfied with the quality of the outcome. Also, the guys (Noah, Jake, Kurt, Josh, Luciano and his team) were all very professional, friendly and pleasant. They were always on time, kept job site immaculate. We were able to continue using our kitchen throughout the process. We appreciated that Noah and Josh were able to install the light boxes with no damage to the ceiling. Jake was very detailed and neat when painting the ceiling. Absolutely no damage, especially to our existing cabinets and floors.

Vision recently did some remodeling in our new house. From start to finish it was a great experience. Noah, John and Kurt did such a great job in general and were in contact frequently about timing and details. They were able to easily make little changes and edits throughout the project as needed. Just received an e mail from Jason regarding remodeling/additions and the joy factor they bring to you.We had dreamed for years of adding a sun room addition (2 different homes) We finally decided to do it - for ourselves.Jason, John and Noah (and all the sub contractor's) did amazing quality work. Our "all season room" was completed last June. Still, everyday (a year later) we mention to each other how much we "love this room" Accept for cooking and sleeping, we spend all in door time in this room (controlled climate on those 90+ degree days, beautiful wooded view year round). Changed the look of the entire house (so much more natural light and brighter now). It is the best investment we have ever made - we made it in ourselves. A big Kudos and Thank you to Jason, John, Noah and all the excellent sub contractors who made our dream possible.
