Our History
In 1994 Jason Carmack started his residential building career as a framing carpenter building some of the most beautiful custom homes in the greater Cincinnati area. Soon after, he took a sidestep and set off to Ohio University to study Engineering and Architecture. Within a year, he was back in Cincinnati pursuing his passion for home building, studying Construction Management at the University of Cincinnati, where he eventually graduated with a Business Management degree. In 1995, while attending school, Jason was given the opportunity to be a part of the team at Zaring Homes, where he spent 10 years as a Project Manager building hundreds of homes. In 2005, Jason was given the opportunity to join the team at Maronda Homes as a Project Manager and eventually went on to fill other positions as their Purchasing Manager and eventually, Operations Manager.
In 2014, after 20 years of learning everything he could regarding the semi-custom and production home market, he joined the team at Justin Doyle Homes as the Vice President of Operations. There, he gained a greater appreciation for the custom home world and enjoyed the endless possibilities of creating a truly one-of-a-kind home. Throughout his 20 year journey in the corporate world, Jason has used his passion for home building and remodeling, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit to complete numerous projects. In 2015, Jason decided to take his love for the industry and continue to pursue his dream of creating and building by establishing Vision Construction.
Since its birth date, Vision Construction has completed various remodel projects in the greater Cincinnati area, from kitchen and bathroom remodels to three-season rooms, finished basements, additions, and full custom homes!
