We are offering a free kitchen design and consultation with our interior designer on all new contracts between now and Sept 1.

Our Process

Whether you have a carefully curated Pinterest board or just know what’s not working for you, understanding your unique needs is our top priority. When you invite us into your home, we work to cultivate a relationship, so we get to know you – and you know your project is in good hands.

 

Step 1: Envision

Sharing Your Vision

To begin, we ask that you provide us with a few key details: 

  • Photos of your space 
  • A brief description of your goals 
  • An idea of your investment range

This information helps us understand your vision and allows us to assemble a Ballpark Quote for what it may cost our company to complete your project. If a site consultation is warranted for larger projects, or if requested by the customer, we charge a $200 site consultation fee.

Option 1

Collaborate with an Interior Designer

Over 75% of our projects are completed alongside talented Interior Designers. If you’d like to work with one, we’ll connect you with one of our trusted partners.

Benefits of working with an Interior Designer: 

  • Layout design to optimize the flow and function of your space 
  • Expert guidance on material selections (cabinets, countertops, tile, and accessories), as well as paint colors, furniture, and décor 
  • Seamless communication between the Interior Designer and our construction team
  • Design boards to help you visualize textures, colors, and overall design choices
  • A beautiful, cohesive space that you will be proud to call home 
  • If you choose to work with one of our trusted Interior Designers we waive our Project Development Fee.

Option 2

DIY (Design It Yourself) & Project Development

If you decide not to partner with an Interior Designer, no problem. however we do charge a 4% Project Development fee

What’s included with our Project Development: 

  • Establish your layout, relocations, structural changes, etc. 
  • Connecting you with our trusted vendors for you to choose your material selections (cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring & more) 
  • Working through our Project Development Packet, this packet details out every element and selection item that you will need to choose for your project, from the trim profile, paint, hardware placement, tile patterns, grout colors, appliance specifications just to name a few. 

Step 3: Plan

Formal Bid and Project Details

Once we understand your vision, we’ll prepare a formal bid for your project. This includes: 

  • A Detailed Quote 
  • Project Timeline 
  • Design Plans 


For additions or larger new construction projects, we require a 1% fee based on the higher end of your project’s invenstment range, even if you decide to work with an Interior Designer.
This fee allows us to prepare a detailed, accurate quote that outlines all aspects of your project. If your addition includes a bathroom, kitchen, or basement, please refer to Option 1 or Option 2 for these add-ons. 

During this phase, we will also confirm material selections from your Interior Designer or through the Project Specifications Packet provided in Option 2, ensuring that your detailed quote is accurate and aligns with your vision.

We take great pride in offering high-quality products sourced from trusted suppliers, which is why we provide a 10-year craftsmanship warranty on our work, along with industry-leading warranties from our preferred manufacturers. This ensures your project will not only meet your expectations but also stand the test of time.

 
 

Step 4: Build

Bringing Your Vision to Life

Once the planning is complete, it’s time to get started! The build phase is where all the details come together. We begin each project by curating a project file that includes everything our field team needs to know, ensuring they are well-prepared before any work begins. The next step is connecting you to Buildertrend, this is an online platform that allows seamless communication, billing, project progress photos & updates, project schedule for our field team for maximum transparency. 

Throughout the construction process, we prioritize making the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We take our responsibility to help you achieve your vision seriously. You are entrusting us with your home, and we are committed to delivering a finished product that makes us worthy of that trust.

Envision

To start, we ask you to share photos of your space, some notes about your goals, and your ballpark budget so we can begin to learn about your vision.

Explore

Once we’ve had the opportunity to review your project based on the details you provide, we arrange a visit to conduct an assessment and to learn as much as we can about what you hope to achieve.

There will be a $100 site measurement fee for this meeting, which will cover the cost of our team traveling to your home and developing a more detailed estimate. This fee will go towards the cost of your remodel.

Plan

We are then prepared to put together a formal bid that includes a quote, timeline, and design. If you choose to proceed, we require a 1% fee based on the higher end of the budget range included with the formal bid. This allows us to complete a detailed quote, spelling out each element of your project before landing on a final price. (If drawings and 3D renderings are required, the fee rises to 2%.) 

In this phase, we also confirm material selections to ensure your detailed quote is accurate and that your project will come to life as you envision. We have a number of outstanding sources for products, and we insist on high-quality selections for all of our remodels. This allows us to provide a 10-year warranty on our work along with industry-leading warranties from our preferred manufacturers. It also provides you with peace of mind that your space will be built with durable, exceptional materials that will serve your family far into the future.

Build

It’s time to get to work! We kick off the build phase of each project with energy and excitement! We curate a file with all the details of your project to ensure that our field team is well-versed on the ins-and-outs of your project before we ever swing a hammer. 

Through every step, we work hard to make the process easy and enjoyable. And above all, we take our responsibility to help you achieve your vision to heart. You’re entrusting us with your home, and we’re committed to providing you with a finished product that makes us worthy of that trust.
