One-of-a-Kind Character in a Small Space
Antique Dresser Vanity Refinished by Vision Craftsmen | Chelsea Emerald Green Glazed Tile | Graphic Wallpaper & Visual Comfort Sconces
This Indian Hill powder room is the kind of space that makes guests stop and ask questions. Working with interior designer Rachel Henry of Sanctuary Designs, Vision Construction refinished an antique dresser in-house and converted it into a one-of-a-kind vanity — then built the rest of the room around it with emerald green glazed tile, graphic wallpaper, and brass sconces that make every inch feel intentional.
This bathroom renovation blends vintage charm with bold, modern style. The space was transformed with a dramatic dark green glazed tile accent wall and graphic wallpaper that adds playful contrast. A standout feature of the remodel is the antique dresser vanity, which was carefully refinished and stained to bring out the natural warmth and character of the wood. A new vessel sink and updated fixtures enhance functionality while maintaining a curated, collected feel. The project was completed in collaboration with Rachel Henry of Sanctuary Designs, who guided the layout and design selections, including tile, lighting, wallpaper, and fixtures—ensuring every detail reflected a refined yet eclectic aesthetic.
A custom grout color was ordered to compliment the tile chosen for the wet wall. Unfortunately, the coverage the manufacturer claimed was drastically off.
New custom grout was ordered from an alternative supplier to complete the project.
This project was designed by Rachel Henry of Sanctuary Designs. Rachel worked closely with the client and worked through the overall floor plan, material selections, tile pattern, color palettes & textures that make this space complete.
During the design phase, we worked with Rachel & the client to establish a realistic budget for the project, timeframe, start date and more. Once the designs were completed, selections were made we had all the information to present a formal proposal.
The customer is given access to Buildertrend, a platform where we manage all of our projects, providing the customer with daily updates for completed phases, submit change orders, secured payments & more.
With the designs confirmed, selections made, budget set, time frame arranged & signed project proposal it was time to get started. With all material selections made, ordering was made easy. We ordered all the materials directly to our shop in preparation for the project start date and ensured all items were indeed correct and intact. Just one damaged item could have caused unnecessary lead time.
